We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in St. Charles, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting functions, including preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and supporting audits. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized individual with a strong accounting background to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization.
Responsibilities :
- Manage general accounting tasks, including maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and schedules with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Record monthly journal entries and post intercompany transactions, ensuring proper account balances.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Review accounts receivable and oversee collection processes to ensure timely payments.
- Provide necessary documentation and support for external audits during quarterly and annual reviews.
- Participate in quarterly inventory assessments in collaboration with the production team.
- Cross-train with accounts payable functions to serve as a reliable backup when needed.
- Adhere to US accounting standards and company policies to ensure consistency and compliance.
This position offers a salary range of $65,000-$95,000 and comes with a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k with a match, generous time off policy and holiday pay.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.Excellent organizational abilities and a willingness to work in a paperless office setting.Knowledge of ASC 606 Revenue Recognition standards and experience applying unearned revenue principles.Proficiency in cost accounting and a solid understanding of related processes.Familiarity with US accounting standards and the ability to implement them effectively.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with Sage 100 accounting software.Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
