Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred. Programming and Scripting : Proficiency in Python and Java Strong understanding of API design, testing, development, and management Familiarity with Scaled Agile methodology and best practices DevOps and Continuous Integration : Knowledge of DevOps principles, including CI / CD pipelines, GitOps, automation, configuration management, and infrastructure as code Experience with AWS (AWS Solutions Architect preferred), Azure is a plus Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes Security Testing : Understanding of security best practices, risk, compliance, vulnerability management, encryption, PKI, incident response, auditing, and monitoring CI / CD and Development : GitLab, Nexus Managed Artifacts, Ansible, Terragrunt, ArgoCD VS Code, Maven Cloud and Containerization : AWS : EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, EBS / EFS, VPC, DNS, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail Kubernetes, Docker Security Testing : ACAS / Grype vulnerability scanning, SIEM (Splunk), Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) Version Control and Collaboration : Git, Jira, Confluence Applicants selected for employment will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation, which may include education, criminal, and work history verifications. Software Engineer
Make the world's most advanced SDA O&I / GMI even smarter by supporting the SDA team as a PWSA Enterprise Level Engineer. The Ground Management and Integration (GMI) program is part of the PWSA program. It continues the Ground Segment work underway on the Tranche 1 (T1) Operations and Integration (O&I) program.
Responsibilities :
- As a Software Engineer for the SDA GMI program, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team developing and deploying state-of-the-art ground operational systems. Your work will directly contribute to the success and innovation of the program.
