Software Engineer
Make the world's most advanced SDA O&I / GMI even smarter by supporting the SDA team as a PWSA Enterprise Level Engineer. The Ground Management and Integration (GMI) program is part of the PWSA program. It continues the Ground Segment work underway on the Tranche 1 (T1) Operations and Integration (O&I) program.
Responsibilities :
- As a Software Engineer for the SDA GMI program, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team developing and deploying state-of-the-art ground operational systems. Your work will directly contribute to the success and innovation of the program.
Qualifications :
U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal LawDepartment of Defense Top Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.Preferred Experience :
Programming and Scripting :Proficiency in Python and JavaStrong understanding of API design, testing, development, and managementFamiliarity with Scaled Agile methodology and best practicesDevOps and Continuous Integration :Knowledge of DevOps principles, including CI / CD pipelines, GitOps, automation, configuration management, and infrastructure as codeExperience with AWS (AWS Solutions Architect preferred), Azure is a plusFamiliarity with containerization tools such as Docker and KubernetesSecurity Testing :Understanding of security best practices, risk, compliance, vulnerability management, encryption, PKI, incident response, auditing, and monitoringTools :
