Early Childhood Lead Teacher (Preschool) The Learning Experience Oak Creek

Location : The Learning Experience Oak Creek, WI

Schedule : Full-Time, MondayFriday

Pay : $16$18 per hour

About the Role

The Learning Experience Oak Creek is hiring an Early Childhood Lead Teacher to oversee our preschool classroom. We are seeking a caring, motivated educator who is excited to support children ages 34 through hands-on learning, meaningful interactions, and a structured play-based curriculum.

This is a great opportunity for a Registry-qualified teacher ready to take on a leadership role in a high-quality childcare and early learning environment.

What Youll Do

  • Lead a preschool classroom while maintaining a safe, organized, and developmentally appropriate environment.
  • Deliver The Learning Experience curriculum to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to assistant teachers.
  • Communicate daily with families, offering updates on learning milestones and classroom experiences.
  • Ensure adherence to Wisconsin DCF regulations , licensing standards, and center safety expectations.

    • Required Qualifications

  • Wisconsin Registry Level 7 or higher required.
  • Director Qualified (DQ) preferred.
  • Prior experience in a licensed childcare or preschool program.
  • Strong understanding of DAP (developmentally appropriate practices) .
  • Reliable, collaborative, and committed to early childhood excellence.
  • CPR / First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
