  • Assignment Length : 14 weeks (January 12, 2026 – April 20, 2026)\n
  • Shift : Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts per week (06 : 30 – 17 : 00)\n
  • Weekly Hours : 40\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1840-$1970\n
  • Healthcare Setting : Main Operating Room (16 ORs, average 35 daily cases)\n
  • Patient Population : Adults and Geriatrics\n
  • Scrub Color : Provided by facility\n
  • Charting System : Epic\n
  • Equipment : 2 DaVinci XI Robots, Pyxis medication management\n
  • Location : Augusta, Georgia 30901\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or Compact State (required at submission)\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience\n
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)\n
  • Experience circulating and scrubbing in the OR\n
  • Proficiency in a variety of surgical procedures : general, neuro, ortho, robotics, urology, vascular, colorectal, and more\n
  • Ability to work occasional weekends and take call (7-8 calls per 6-week schedule, plus 1 weekend call and 1-2 weekend shifts per contract)\n
  • Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered)\n
  • Two supervisory references (manager or above preferred)\n

    • \n\nOperating Room Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver perioperative nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a high-volume OR environment\n
  • Circulate and scrub for a broad spectrum of surgical cases\n
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
  • Utilize Epic for electronic charting and Pyxis for medication administration\n
  • Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards\n
  • Participate in orientation and complete all required training modules\n
  • Demonstrate scheduling flexibility, including working major holidays as needed\n
  • Float to other units as required (rare)\n
