Advantra is seeking an experienced SAP PI Consultant to support and enhance SAP integration operations within a large-scale enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Process Integration (PI / PO) and SAP Integration Suite (CPI) , responsible for maintaining reliable, secure, and efficient integration between SAP and non-SAP systems.

About the role

This role is part of the Application Management Services (AMS) team, supporting mission-critical interfaces and integration processes across multiple modules and platforms. The consultant will troubleshoot integration issues, optimize data flows, and participate in integration enhancement and modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain, and support SAP PI / PO and CPI interfaces across multiple environments.

Analyze integration failures and provide timely resolutions to ensure business continuity.

Develop and configure interfaces using IDOC, RFC, REST, SOAP, and OData protocols.

Perform root cause analysis, performance tuning, and proactive monitoring for integration stability.

Collaborate with functional and infrastructure teams to design and deploy integration solutions.

Participate in integration testing, migration, and upgrade activities.

Maintain technical documentation, mapping specifications, and design diagrams.

Ensure security compliance and adherence to data integration governance standards.

Core Requirements

6 8 years of experience in SAP PI / PO and SAP Integration Suite (CPI) .

Strong knowledge of integration protocols (SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, IDOC, RFC).

Proficiency in developing mappings using Graphical, Java, and XSLT tools.

Hands-on experience in monitoring tools such as SAP PO Runtime Workbench , Message Monitoring , and SAP Cloud Integration Monitoring .

Experience with end-to-end interface design, development, and deployment .

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent integrations in a production environment.

Nice to Have

Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite components (API Management, Event Mesh).

Familiarity with SAP AIF (Application Interface Framework) .

Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging and functional module integration (FI, HR, MM, etc.).

Experience in public sector or regulated enterprise environments .
