Security Officer - Residential Evening Patrol

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential communities, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. You will interact with residents, respond to security-related situations, and deliver outstanding customer service. Pay Rate : $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Time : Wed 05 : 30 PM - 02 : 00 AM Thur 05 : 30 PM - 02 : 00 AM

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential disturbances.
  • Observe and report security-related incidents or hazards encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives as required.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation as directed by Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and staff to address inquiries or concerns related to security-related matters.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR or first aid is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
