Education Program Director Lead an Award-Winning, Concierge-Level Team

Located in McLean, VA

For over 40 years, MLS Educational Consultantsa small, woman-owned businesshas been a trusted part of the McLean educational community. We proudly serve second-generation clients and have been repeatedly recognized as the Best Tutoring, Test Prep, and College Admissions Advising Company in Arlington, McLean, and Falls Church by Arlington Magazine readers. We serve students ages 521 through customized one-on-one and small-group sessions. Every educator on our team is a compassionate professional who helps students strengthen academic skills, build confidence, and develop strategies for lifelong learning.

Who we're looking for :

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Education Program Director to lead our programs and maintain MLSs commitment to excellence and personalized service. Based in McLean, VA, this role includes overseeing daily operations, supporting and mentoring tutors, guiding curriculum development, and fostering positive communication with families and schools. The role requires direct interaction with students and parents. The Director ensures every client receives the concierge-level care that defines MLSresponsive, individualized, and results-driven.

Qualifications

  • Experience in both in-person and online tutoring
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with diverse students, educators, and parents
  • Masters degree in Education or related field preferred
  • Experience in special education is an advantage
