Employment Litigation Paralegal
Established (50+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Employment Litigation Paralegal in San Jose, CA
An established firm based in San Jose with over 50 years in practice is seeking an Employment Litigation Paralegal with five or more years of experience to join their team onsite . This Paralegal will have experience with employment litigation matters , including personnel actions, class actions, discovery, and trial preparation, while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Offer :
$85,000-$105,000, contingent on experience

Qualifications :
Candidates must possess a Paralegal Certificate or a degree in paralegal studies.
A Bachelor's degree and a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program are preferred.
Candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience working as a paralegal in civil litigation, employment law, or human resources.
Experience with ESI discovery and proficiency in Excel are required.
Candidates should demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and writing skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Familiarity with electronic discovery platforms and Excel databases is essential.
Responsibilities :
The Paralegal will assist attorneys in managing personnel actions, advice and counsel, class actions, and all aspects of litigation. They will prepare motions, complaints, briefs, and other legal documents, and interview clients and witnesses for hearings, depositions, and trials. The Paralegal will coordinate with outside vendors and contractors to perform discovery obligations, manage evidence, and answer interrogatories. They will also create and manage data in Excel and perform all legal support work permitted by the California State Bar rules.
