Position Overview

Job Title : Night Auditor

Location : 3001 Atlantic Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23456

Availability : Typically, 11pm 7am, shifts may vary, must be available weekends and holidays

Work Environment : Oceanfront hotel right on the boardwalk

Summary : Night auditors perform end-of-day accounting tasks and overnight front desk duties. They assist late-night guests, process check-ins and check-outs, and address other customer requests. They also audit, reconcile, and balance daily financial activities.

Job Functions :

• Performs all audit procedures as set forth by the hotel and company, daily.
• Performs and attributes all required audit reports.
• Verifies the status of all wake-up call requests and ensures they are properly handled.
• Balances all cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift.
• Prepares the front office for the 'A' shift and reset days business.
• Acts as a Guest Service representative during the nighttime hours.
• Acts as the manager on duty during the nighttime hours.
• Attends and actively participates in all front office meetings.
• Participates in all training and cross training programs.
• Acts as PBX operator during the audit shift.
• Setting up coffee areas
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
• Reports to work for scheduled shifts, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
• Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
