Description :
This position works under clinical supervision.
It requires considerable knowledge of behavioral healthcare programs and program techniques.
The provider is a member of a sex offender team.
They are responsible for sex offender interventions for a caseload of assigned offenders.
Completes screenings and assessments.
Conducts group and sex offender interventions as prescribed on the individual in-program assessment.
Uses evidence-based correctional program intervention strategies within their scope of practice and as directed by supervision.
Writes reports and maintains necessary data documents to satisfy requirements of federal, state, and local agencies.
Enters documentation in electronic health records of all inmate encounters and contacts.
Completes miscellaneous forms and reports as needed per policy and protocol.
Completes transfer and discharge summaries.
Consults with other institution staff regarding the sex offender caseload, inmate's institutional adjustment, and service needs.
Attends meetings for sex offender program supervision.
Attends in-service training and workshops for professional development.
