Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pre-Admissions Testing Registered Nurse with us :

• You will serve as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care prior to admission and procedure / surgery.
• You will be responsible for obtaining patient history and current medications, ensuring nursing assessment is completed and standard of care initiated.
• You will obtain and / or coordinate pre-admission diagnostic testing (EKGs, Labs, CXR, etc.), and analyze pertinent data, communicate findings, and documents information accurately.
• You will initiate and document pre-procedure / operative instruction and discharge teaching, involving patient and family / significant other.
• You may work telephonically or in-person with the patient.
