Quality Engineer

Dover Precision Components is hiring a Quality Engineer for our FW Murphy Production Controls brand, located at our Rosenberg, TX facility. WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Quality Engineer strategizes, implements, and supports activities to ensure that products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Play a critical role in monitoring and improving manufacturing and engineering processes, developing testing methods, analyzing parts and data, and implementing changes to enhance quality. The Quality Engineer works closely with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and sales to identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring that products meet customer expectations and company standards. Lead root cause analysis, implementing quality strategy at the site level, supporting quality-related audits, and supplier quality assurance. Key responsibilities include :

Quality Assurance :

• Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Conduct audits, tests, and inspections throughout production, globally, to identify defects or areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality guidelines.
• Work with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality standards. Conduct supplier audits and provide support to manufacturing site audits by customers.
• Develop and implement quality control plans to assist in achieving higher levels of quality from start to finish and ensure product reliability and consistency for strategic projects.
• Contribute, maintain, and support the company Quality System, compliance with regulatory requirements, and quality strategy execution.
• Develop and maintain the validation and verification strategy for new and existing products and processes
