Overview

The Administrative Assistant position at Coblentz Patch Duffy & Bass LLP will be a temporary role lasting approximately 6 months, from January through June of 2026. The role will provide coverage for the Marketing Coordinator during an extended leave. This position will report to the Director of Business Development and Marketing, while working closely with two marketing managers. The in-office expectation will be 3 days per week (with some flexibility) for the duration of the position.

The hourly pay range for this position is $30 to $40 per hour. The amount offered will be based on a number of factors, including the specific qualifications of the applicant, years of related experience, education, applicable licenses and certifications, and the geographical location from which the applicant will perform the job.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Marketing Team with managing the Client Relationship Database.
  • Provide assistance hosting onsite events in coordination with Marketing Managers and the Facilities Team.
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of invitations and name tags for Firm events.
  • Coordinate with managers to organize and compose the Firm’s monthly newsletter.

Knowledge and Abilities Required

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good written communication including emphasis on proper grammar.
  • Experience and Education Required

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Several years of work experience onsite in a professional office setting.
  • Working familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and PowerPoint.
  • Working Conditions

    Normal office environment and, as needed, the ability to work from home.

    Physical Requirements

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit for long periods of time, come and go from workspace repeatedly throughout the day, use a computer and phone, talk, listen, read and understand documents, and move and lift up to 10 pounds. The physical demands described are representative of the requirements that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
