Description : Job Summary :

Each client admitted Spero’s substance use and recovery program is assigned a Substance Use Counselor. The Substance Use Counselor takes responsibility for coordinating the following : assessment and identification of client’s needs, coordination of the development of the treatment plan, facilitation of groups and individual counseling, treatment coordination, and coordination of discharge planning. The Substance Use Counselor will primarily service adult clients and may have the opportunity to work with adolescent clients, if additional educational and supervision requirements have been completed.
