Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Utility Locate Supervisor to join our growing team!

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team that provides utility locating and leak detection services critical to the safety and reliability of our clients' infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll guide operations, drive quality and safety, and ensure field teams deliver exceptional results every day.

What You'll Do

In this key leadership position, you will :

• Lead and oversee field operations for utility locating and leak detection services.
• Supervise and support field leads, technicians, and crews to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on time.
• Provide coaching, training, and professional development opportunities to team members.
• Collaborate with schedulers, other supervisors, and business lines to efficiently staff and manage projects.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, client specifications, and federal and industry regulations.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and champion a culture of health, safety, and quality.
• Review project data, safety documentation, and quality reports from initiation through closeout.
• Manage budgets, operating plans, and resource allocation to maintain efficiency and profitability.
• Partner with internal teams and clients to resolve field issues, improve workflows, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Participate in the hiring, onboarding, and field training of new employees.
• Assist in locates within your area when needed.

Lake Superior Consulting offers a competitive compensation package. The actual starting salary will be determined based on a variety of factors, including your skills, experience, and office / market location. The anticipated salary / hourly range for this position is $30-$35 per hour.
