About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : RN Specialty : Endoscopy Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 07 : 00 - 19 : 30 Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum 2 years License : Active RN License Certifications : ACLS, BLS Must-Have : Endoscopy procedural experience Description : General Comments : Unit specifics include 5 pre-op beds, 5 post-op beds, and 2 procedural rooms. Patient ratios are 1 : 1 or 1 : 2. All staff on the unit are registered nurses. The equipment includes bedside monitors, an EKG machine, and endoscopic procedural equipment. Documentation is done through the Expanse system. Scheduling consists of 4-10 hour shifts with on-call weekends and after-hours. There may be floating to local endoscopy facilities or pre-op / PACU. A minimum of 1 year of endoscopy experience is required. Certifications in ACLS and BLS are mandatory. The required uniform is blue scrubs, preferably light blue. The department is described as a small, family-oriented unit with a strong dedication to teamwork.
