Position Summary :
The Intake Specialist for the JCRU Program plays an essential administrative role in ensuring accurate data entry, thorough quality reviews, and compliance with program standards. This position supports the operational success of JCRU by maintaining the integrity of electronic health records (EHR), facilitating case assignments, and assisting in program reporting and evaluation efforts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Data Entry and Record Management :
Accurately input client information, assessments, and service documentation into the CareLogic electronic health record (EHR) system.
Ensure all required fields are completed and that records meet compliance and program standards.Manage and update client records with timely information as provided by JCRU clinicians and team members.Case Assignments to Programs :Review client information and determine appropriate program placements based on criteria provided by the JCRU team.
Collaborate with program staff to ensure cases are assigned promptly and accurately.Track case assignments to ensure proper follow-through and documentation.Quality Assurance :Conduct routine audits of EHR documentation to identify missing or inaccurate information.
Review data for adherence to program guidelines, legal regulations (e.g., HIPAA), and best practices.Provide feedback to staff on documentation errors and areas for improvement.Administrative Support :Compile and organize data for reports to support program evaluation and decision-making.
Assist with tracking program metrics and outcomes as required by the organization or funding sources.Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative workflows and improve efficiency.Compliance Monitoring :Ensure documentation aligns with legal, ethical, and organizational requirements.
Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive client information at all times.Qualifications :
Education :Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., health administration, behavioral health, or social work) required.Experience :2+ years of administrative experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or a related field preferred.Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems required; experience with CareLogic is strongly preferred.Experience in data entry, quality assurance, or compliance monitoring is a plus.Skills :Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with data reporting tools.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.Work Environment :
Office-based role with minimal client interaction.Requires focus and precision in handling sensitive information and ensuring data integrity.
