Position Title: RF Engineer
Location: Bradenton, FL
Job Type: Full-time Travel (4-10 schedule, 3 day weekends)

Position Summary
This role focuses on the design, development, and implementation of microprocessor-based systems for power distribution and cabin control in aviation applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop solid-state power controls, cabin control systems, and data acquisition devices.
- Generate technical documentation, including hardware requirements, design descriptions, and verification procedures.
- Conduct peer and technical design reviews internally and with customers.
- Perform hardware validation, integration, and system testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on hardware/software integration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in analog/digital circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout review.
- Experience with EMC, thermal design, and aviation standards (e.g., RTCA/DO-160).
- Familiarity with communication protocols (ARINC 429, RS-232/422/485, CAN).
- Hands-on experience with lab test equipment (spectrum/network analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators).
- Knowledge of RF systems and components such as amplifiers, filters, mixers, and converters.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and time management skills.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
