Radiation Coder

A company is looking for a Radiation Coder / Medical Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

Review radiation cases for billing code accuracy and compliance

Maintain clinical documentation and transmit timely determinations regarding billing code requirements

Provide administrative support for radiation department initiatives and maintain protocols in the internal system

Required Qualifications

Associate degree or higher

ROCC certification (preferred) or extensive knowledge of ASTRO radiation coding guidelines

Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a radiation billing code role

Ability to teach others in a practical manner

Knowledge and skills to obtain clinical information for assessment
