Our software – Cerbo EHR – is a cloud-based electronic health records (EHR) and patient portal software system.

To this end, we’re looking for a Mid-Level Software Engineer  to join our growing team.  What You’ll Do  As a Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining scalable, cloud-based software solutions.

You’ll work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features and improvements to our platform.

The ideal candidate should have experience in both software development, as well as a background in cloud technologies.

Primary responsibilities will be focused on building a back-end platform, with some front-end development.  We are seeking an individual who can offer fresh, innovative and insightful perspectives, enjoys working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and is dedicated to delivering practical solutions and excellent user experiences, as we continue to broaden our customer deployments.  Primary Responsibilities  Develop and maintain full-stack applications using PHP and Laravel.  Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.  Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback.  Support application deployment and ongoing maintenance.  Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to ensure that software solutions meet business requirements.  Stay up to date with new technologies and industry trends to ensure that software solutions are cutting-edge and competitive.  Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.  Communicate with stakeholders, including management, customers, and other teams, to ensure that software solutions meet their needs.  Required Skills & Qualifications    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).  3–5 years of experience in software development.  Proficient in PHP and Laravel.  Experience with RESTful APIs and backend integration.  Solid understanding of database design and optimization.  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.  Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.  Eagerness to learn and grow under the mentorship of senior engineers.  Proficient in database design and have experience optimizing database schemas.  Experience with tools such as Git, Docker and Kubernetes  Experience working with one or more cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and familiar with their services and APIs.  Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and able to collaborate effectively with other team members.  Compensation & Benefits  Competitive compensation based on experience  Comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits  401 (k) plan with matching company contribution  Short-term disability & long-term disability insurance  Paid Time Off and company holidays   Full suite of remote working tools and processes  Location :
