Patient Registration Specialist

A company is looking for a Patient Registration Specialist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient registration and enter demographic and insurance information into the billing system

Verify insurance eligibility and coverage benefits using various tools and resources

Identify and resolve issues related to insurance eligibility and escalate complex problems as needed

Required Qualifications

High school diploma required

A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in Revenue Cycle, Registration, and Medical Billing

Solid understanding of registration and billing processes

Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology

Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
