Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position with call and weekend requirements at a Level III Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

Work in the Cath Lab of a short-term acute care, teaching hospital

Level III Trauma Center with 733 staffed beds

Day shifts, 3x12 hours (0645-1915), with schedule variability

Seven weekday call shifts and one Saturday call in a five-week period

Epic charting system is used and experience is required

No floating to sister facilities required

Responsibilities include providing patient care in the Cath Lab, participating in call rotation, and covering weekends as scheduled

Pre-start online modules are required and will take 4-10 hours

Orientation and training are provided prior to start

Assignment allows for a maximum of one contract extension while on day shift

No more than 6 days of time off requested will be approved and only 1 holiday

First-time travelers are accepted for this position

Requirements

Active NC or compact RN license required

Minimum of 1 year of cath lab RN experience

Epic EMR experience required

Certification in BLS and ACLS required

Must pass EKG exam prior to start

No acceptance of candidates living within a 50-mile radius

Return staff must have at least one year since previous assignment
