Inspector – Precision Machining

Location : Hebron, KY

Pay : $33 / hour

Schedule : Monday–Friday | 100% Onsite

Type : Contract

trak group is hiring an Inspector to join a leading precision manufacturing team in Hebron, KY. In this role, you’ll perform hands-on inspections using advanced measuring equipment to verify product quality and accuracy. This position is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background and a commitment to precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Inspect precision-machined components for dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Use precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMMs.
• Document inspection results and communicate findings to engineering and production.
• Identify non-conformances and assist in root-cause analysis.
• Maintain calibration records and ensure compliance with quality standards.
