[job_card.job_description]Position is on a Cardiac Medical-Surgical unit in a hospital setting Care for cardiac patients with varied acuity levels 12-hour night shifts, 7 : 00pm to 7 : 30am, three shifts per week Assignment is 13 weeks in length EMR used is Epic, and prior experience with this system is required No local candidates within a 50 mile radius will be accepted Responsible for coordinating and delivering cardiac patient care using the nursing process Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care May not be on assignment at this facility for more than one year continuously; a six-month break is required before returning Up to 7 days of requested time off is allowed per 13-week contract No travel partners are permitted for this assignment Active Illinois RN license or temporary license in good standing is required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required Minimum of one year of recent relevant RN experience in a similar setting Level 1 trauma experience is required Epic EMR experience must be listed and is required Associate degree in nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
