Job description : Job Overview :
Join our Radiation Oncology Center client who has been providing oncology services in Pierce County for nearly 40 years. They are independently owned and are established leaders in the delivery of compassionate, leading edge oncology care.
Duties :
- Perform radiation therapy treatments using linear accelerators or other radiation equipment
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery
- Monitor and assess patient reactions to treatment and report any issues to the oncologist
- Maintain detailed records of treatment plans, progress, and outcomes
- Educate patients on treatment procedures and possible side effects

Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related fieldCurrent certification as a Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent certification.Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and equipmentKnowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminologyExperience in acute care or critical care settings preferredFamiliarity with radiation therapy modalities including mammography and CT scansWhy is This a Great Opportunity :
