Our Client, a Public Utility that provides natural gas and electricity to the majority of Michigan's 10 million residents is seeking a talented and self-driven individual for needs serving in the role of Streetlight Technical Support Specialist for a 12 Month + Contract opportunity.

Duties:

The Streetlight Technical Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate customer streetlight counts by updating records to reflect changes in company‑owned streetlight systems. Responsibilities include processing material changes related to streetlight outages, applying appropriate credits, updating mapping information, researching municipal jurisdictional responsibilities, and communicating updates to customers.

The ideal candidate will:

• Possess a foundational understanding of SAP, GIS (ArcGIS), Open Utilities, and Google Maps
• Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret electric distribution maps
• Be highly proficient in Excel
• Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills
• Maintain strong attention to detail with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Apply basic problem-solving skills
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment

Education and Experience

At least 2 years of applicable experience and a High School diploma or equivalent
