State Licensed Laboratory Director

A company is looking for a Director of Lab Stewardship and Test Optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the laboratory stewardship program, aligning with value-based care initiatives

Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to test utilization and productivity

Collaborate with clinical leaders to develop guidelines for appropriate test ordering and analyze test ordering trends

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

MT / MLS or MLT certification by ASCP, AMT or equivalent required

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Black Belt or comparable credential preferred

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or MBA preferred

Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in laboratory operations and quality

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of data visualization tools
