ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Special Procedures Technologist for a travel job in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details : \n

  • Work standard shift hours from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM with flexibility required for earlier or later procedures

    • \n

  • Call duties divided equally among team members, typically two nights per week and every other weekend

    • \n

  • Weekend on-call coverage from close of business Friday to department opening Monday morning

    • \n

  • Must respond to call within 30 minutes of notification

    • \n

  • Float between Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab as needed

    • \n

  • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations

    • \n

  • Daily census of approximately 5 patients with 5 visits per day

    • \n

  • Patient ratio of 2 : 1 during day shifts

    • \n

  • 24 hours of orientation provided

    • \n

  • Work in single procedure room environment

    • \n

  • Must participate in "Emergency Team" assignments during facility emergencies

    • \n

  • No call-ins permitted - strict attendance policy

    • \n

  • Must be willing to stay at facility during emergency events or serve on relief team

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and Louisiana State License

    • \n

  • Minimum 2 years of experience required in specialty

    • \n

  • Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted

    • \n

  • Must live more than 65 miles from facility

    • \n

  • Epic charting system experience preferred

    • \n

  • Extensive skills required including interventional procedures, catheterizations, embolizations, and various diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
