Job Description:

Reliance Aerotech Services is currently seeking A&P Certified Engine Specialist with experience on Large Turbofan engines to support our customer as a Technical Support Specialist (TSS). This is high profile position, and as such is subject to highest standards of professionalism with regard to dependability, personal appearance, and adherence to quality and safety standards. The ideal individual will be selected based on their expertise and the ability to make good judgment calls and quick decisions as it pertains to customer service and supporting the end customer.

Job Description:

Selected applicants will be involved in directing the repair and modification of production aircraft engines. Individuals will be responsible for troubleshooting engine discrepancies and reporting root cause/ recommendations to our customer. Duties will be performed at all manufacturer facilities in the Puget Sound, WA area (Seattle, Renton, Kent, Everett and Charleston, SC as well as remotes sites as identified by the customer. Shift assignments will be dictated by customer production schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • All qualifications and requirements as a Level II Lead Technician in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Directly interface with manufacturer and airline customers on behalf of our customer
  • Represent as delegated for customer negotiations
  • Conduct initial engineering investigations and perform follow up investigations as directed by customer
  • Prioritizes and delegate work activity with the goal of preventing customer caused disruptions within them, manufacturer production process
  • Responsible for ensuring all work performed is in strict compliance with any and all provided OEM customer technical data, drawings, schematics, manuals, directives, engineering changes or modifications and any other pertinent data required to satisfactorily complete work assignments
  • Ensure technician manpower is available and properly utilized to provide requested coverage/support
  • Provide technical direction to assigned engine technicians
  • Keep the OEM Senior Program Manager/Senior Field Service Engineer or authorized OEM delegate informed of assigned work status
  • Participates in daily meetings with the OEM Senior Program Manager/Senior Field Service Engineer or authorized OEM delegate(s) as required
  • Maintains clear communication to the OEM SPM, or Senior FSE on any issues affecting support to Manufacturer
  • Current and valid A&P certificate

Must be able to pass FAA DOT pre-employment drug screen

Must be able to pass standard 10 year background check with no criminal activity

Must have current and valid driver's license
