Job Description

We are seeking a Driver CDL-Class A or B with passenger endorsement to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating bus or van with passengers to and from their home and to appointments.

Responsibilities :

  • The Driver is responsible for assisting and safely transporting participants to and from the center and their residence.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of the routes used in transporting clients and of the roadways in the client service area.
  • Safe assistance and transportation of clients
  • Properly track and document activity log
  • Report any issues or incidents to Administrative Office
  • Inspect truck before and after trip
  • Daily cleaning of interior of the vehicle
  • Handling of emergencies en-route until emergency assistance arrives at vehicle
  • Responsible handling of participant's personal belongings and medications

Qualifications :

  • Must have a high school diploma and a New Jersey State driver's license with no more than 3 points on driving record.
  • Must provide STARS with DMV Abstract.
  • Prior experience in transportation of the elderly and / or physically / mentally challenged persons preferred.
