The Parts Counter Salesperson is responsible for assisting wholesale and retail customers with parts inquiries, orders, and support both in-person and via phone or electronic communication.

This role plays a key part in maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring order accuracy, and contributing to overall departmental performance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist customers and service technicians in identifying required parts using electronic catalogs and other resources.
• Process parts orders accurately and efficiently through the dealership’s DMS (Dealer Management System).
• Provide price quotes, availability information, and delivery timelines to wholesale and retail customers.
• Handle phone, walk-in, and online orders in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
• Maintain and grow relationships with wholesale accounts by providing exceptional service and support.
• Coordinate with warehouse and delivery staff to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of parts.
• Follow up on back ordered items and communicate status updates to customers.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Ford parts and accessories, promotions, and warranty policies.
• Support inventory control through returns processing, stock adjustments, and periodic counts.
• Work collaboratively with the service and body shop departments to fulfill internal parts requests.
• Comply with all safety standards, dealership policies, and manufacturer guidelines.
