Day shift, 5x8 hours (07 : 00 - 15 : 00)

Job Description

The Radiation Therapist plays a critical role in providing high-quality care in a pediatric setting. The position will not require on-call hours or weekend shifts. The expected patient ratio is 1 RT to 20 patients.

Responsibilities

  • Administer radiation therapy to patients
  • Assist with intravascular and interstitial administration
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort, including those in restraints
  • Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as CBCT and kV / mV imaging
  • Participate in simulation processes including CT simulation and motion management
  • Handle emergency cases effectively
  • Engage in patient and family teaching
  • Support interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist
  • Current licensure and ARRT certification required
  • BLS certification
  • Experience with Elekta Mosaiq Record and Verify System preferred
  • Familiarity with pediatric patient care is a plus
