We are seeking a versatile Marine Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair high-performance watercraft. This role requires a blend of traditional automotive-style engine diagnostics with specialized marine skills including DC electrical systems, precision rigging, and composite/installer of electronic navigational system, marine audio equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring vessels are sea-worthy, aesthetically sound, and technically advanced.
Key Responsibilities:
Required Skills & Qualifications
Skill Area: Service techician certification either Mercury, Yamaha, or Suzuki
Expectation: To have no less than one year of on the job training.
Mechanical
Proficiency in internal combustion engines (transferred from Auto).
Electrical
Ability to read wiring schematics and terminate wires.
Carpentry
Experience with finish work and understanding of marine-grade materials.
Environment
Ability to work in tight bilges, aloft in a harness, or outdoors in all weather.
Must have your own tools
