Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking a Manager Electronics Engineering Manager Level 1 to join our team in Gilbert, AZ. The Integration & Test (I&T) Electrical Engineering Department is looking for a functional section manager who will also provide technical leadership to space programs and the engineering team. You ensure that your team has the information and tools needed to perform at their best. You demonstrate our committed pursuit of applying innovation to meet the requirements of our customers. You craft and execute strategies that result in sustainable value creation that delivers measurable results. These are highly dynamic, interactive positions. You will interact with numerous stakeholders including program management, systems engineering, flight hardware design engineers and logistical support services. Outstanding organizational and leadership skills are required to succeed in this role. This position will work a 9 / 80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Staffing support to space systems programs
• Conducting quarterly performance evaluations and annual reviews
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to the staff
• Managing indirect, program direct, and capital needs
• Professional development and mentoring of direct reports
• Supporting Functional Homeroom initiatives and projects which include process improvement, Event Response Teams, Corrective and Preventive Action implementation, & Proposal efforts.

Primary Level Salary Range : $114,900.00 - $172,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
