Class D Driver

Job Summary :

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class D Driver to join our team. This is local driving only. The driver will be responsible for transporting goods, or materials using vehicles requiring a Class D driver’s license. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong customer service skills, knowledge of traffic laws, and a commitment to safe driving practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.

Transport goods, or materials to designated locations in a timely manner.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.

Maintain accurate delivery, mileage, and service records as required.

Assist with loading and unloading of goods, as needed.

• Help out in the warehouse as needed.

Provide professional and courteous customer service during all interactions.

Report accidents, mechanical issues, or delays promptly to the supervisor.

Ensure cleanliness and proper upkeep of assigned vehicle.

Qualifications :

Valid Class D driver’s license with a clean driving record.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven driving experience (2+ years preferred).

Ability to lift, load, and unload packages up to 50 pounds.

Strong knowledge of local and state traffic laws.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Work Environment :

Driving in various weather and traffic conditions.

May require sitting for extended periods.

Occasional lifting, bending, and carrying of materials.
