Class D Driver

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class D Driver to join our team. This is local driving only. The driver will be responsible for transporting goods, or materials using vehicles requiring a Class D driver’s license. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong customer service skills, knowledge of traffic laws, and a commitment to safe driving practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.

• Transport goods, or materials to designated locations in a timely manner.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.

• Maintain accurate delivery, mileage, and service records as required.

• Assist with loading and unloading of goods, as needed.

• Help out in the warehouse as needed.

• Provide professional and courteous customer service during all interactions.

• Report accidents, mechanical issues, or delays promptly to the supervisor.

• Ensure cleanliness and proper upkeep of assigned vehicle.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class D driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proven driving experience (2+ years preferred).

• Ability to lift, load, and unload packages up to 50 pounds.

• Strong knowledge of local and state traffic laws.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Work Environment:

• Driving in various weather and traffic conditions.

• May require sitting for extended periods.

• Occasional lifting, bending, and carrying of materials.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Valid Drivers License, Class D.
• Monday- Friday. $17.00-$18.00/hour
