Carpenter Position

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking skilled Carpenters to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina. This position is available on both first and second shifts.

Schedule :

• 1st Shift : 6 : 00am-4 : 30pm with OT as necessary
• 2nd Shift : 5 : 30 pm-3 : 30am with OT as necessary

Location : 623 McWay Dr, High Point, NC 27263

Responsibilities :

• Install architectural doors, walls, and trim
• Handle material
• Use power tools (e.g. circular saw, drill, reciprocating saw, etc.)
• Work safely and adhere to all safety rules and policies
• Work in a fast-paced team environment

Education Requirements / Qualifications :

• Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required.
• Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
• At least one year experience in wood or metal carpentry
• Construction experience preferred

Job Requirements / Special Skills :

• Ability to speak and read either English or Spanish required
• Ability to read a tape measure, blueprints, and layouts
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
