Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Two (2) years of experience in acute adult oncology, specializing in leukemia and lymphoma, inpatient setting.

License : NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.

Certifications : BLS - AHA.

Must-Have : Chemotherapy Certification with ONS.

Description : The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.

The nurse plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs.

Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments.

Initiates assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician medical diagnoses, and functional health frameworks.

Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.

Manages care of patients.

Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.

Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.

Provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
