Job Description
This person handles the final stage of audit-closing cases, calculating overpayments, and ensuring proper recovery of funds from providers.
Responsibilities
• Approve and finalize audit findings.
• Manage cases until closure.
• Calculate overpayments and oversee recovery.
• Handle provider communication and appeals.
• Work with State financial teams for repayments.
Qualifications
• 5+ years healthcare audit experience (preferably Medicaid).
• Strong knowledge of coding, compliance, audit processes.
• Understanding of overpayment rules and appeals.
