Serve as the primary front-end developer for customer-facing experiences, partnering closely with UI / UX to bring designs to life in production Act as the primary liaison between the E-commerce and Systems teams to ensure seamless cross-departmental collaboration Own front-end execution across the e-commerce site, ensuring design fidelity, accessibility, and performance from concept to launch Translate Figma designs into high-quality, performant Shopify builds (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with strong attention to detail and responsiveness Serve as the Marketing team's personal tech wizard, providing on-the-spot dev support Maintain the technical infrastructure and code base across Shopify, Amazon, and TikTok platforms Work cross-functionally to understand user journeys and fix those pesky customer pain points Translate design specifications and mocks into high-quality, functional builds Flex your dev muscles by coding within our various data systems and platforms to keep the gears turning Implement regular website updates to optimize and improve the overall consumer experience Basically Marie Kondo-ing the heck out of our developing and coding initiatives No direct reports – you get to lead the coding charge, without managing your fellow flamingos This role is in the E-Commerce team and will report directly to the Director of E-Commerce Perform other related duties as assigned May or may not have a degree...we don't care (bonus points for Basset Hound Science or Dinosaur Law) Asks a lot of questions 4+ years proven working experience in Digital Development Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills Loves coding! Lives for coding! Can't get enough of coding! Major flex if you have both Frontend and Backend Development experience A self-starter who can rely on their skill in prioritizing and organizing their workflow to coordinate multiple departments Thinks the greatest trifecta of all time is HTML, CSS, and Javascript Dependable with the willingness to take the initiative to work collaboratively and with a sense of urgency Loves the work more than a paycheck Thinks planning and organizing are fun Loves to create order out of chaos Is happy to give away credit to their team Loves getting and giving feedback Is into personal growth Thinks Fun is doing great work (not just partying) Is proactive and an independent problem solver! ABOUT THE ROLE
Ever wonder how Carl the Flamingo manages to flawlessly live stream his high-stakes mixology sessions without the internet imploding? It's because he started learning how to be a Digital Developer in his free time. However, Carl's getting too busy to both code websites and shake cocktails. So we're looking for a skilled Digital Developer to join our squad, allowing Carl to focus on what he's really good at : mixing tasty mojitos!!
This role acts as a link between the E-commerce and Systems teams. You'll manage our digital infrastructure across Shopify, Amazon, and TikTok, ensuring every customer journey is smoother than a frozen daiquiri. When you aren't fixing pesky pain points, you'll be providing on-the-spot dev support among various departments. So if you can wrangle the digital world the way Carl wrangles a blender, you're exactly the interwebs expert we're looking for!
