We are looking for a

Marketing Specialist

to join our Business Development Team. The right candidate will have an outgoing, fun, and professional personality. This person will enjoy meeting new people and developing ongoing relationships, by visiting insurance agent’s offices throughout Snohomish County. You will participate in marketing events, such as continuing education classes, trade shows, symposiums, and golf tournaments.

This is a full-time opportunity, Monday through Friday, 8am – 4 : 30pm. There is an option to use a company marketing vehicle as well!

Responsibilities

Be the ‘Face of the Brand’ for

ServiceMaster of Seattle

by setting up a positive, professional tone for interacting with Insurance Agency employees.

Marketing to existing customers, and growing new relationships through fun, creative and strategic marketing of insurance companies within a established territory.

Educate Insurance Companies and other businesses on why

ServiceMaster of Seattle

should be their first choice when they want the best for their customers when disaster strikes.

Establish, nurture, and maintain Insurance Company relationships with key contacts such as agent owners, managers, and insurance professionals.

Your given territory will require you to drive and visit your established accounts on a daily basis.

Assist the Marketing team with visual presentations of merchandise, new displays, and marketing / promotions.

Attend and support Marketing events aimed at educating potential customers / insurance offices about our services and values.

Act as a

ServiceMaster of Seattle

expert, able to answer questions and train / teach others about the company values and the many services we offer.

Provide potential customers with a short presentation of all the solutions / services ServiceMaster can offer to both commercial and residential customers in need of award-winning restoration and repair.

Recap Marketing efforts / events with reports to gather feedback to communicate to

ServiceMaster of Seattle

management.

Vacation :

1st year : 1 week (5 days)

Position offers an hourly rate of $22 / hr, plus bonuses. Last year our top earner bonus was $22,000 and our lowest bonus was $12,600. Pay range including bonus and base last year was $56,600 – $70,000.

Marketing materials, company vehicle (available), great coworkers & fashionable company apparel choices provided. Mileage plans are available if you choose to use your own vehicle.

Qualifications

Strong people and communication skills

Prior sales experience preferred, but not required, can train

Must be happy, outgoing, and enjoy meeting people and building relationships

Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word and Excel specifically) and able to quickly learn new software

Understands and is willing to learn a CRM platform

Stellar written and oral communication skills

Excellent time management, able to balance many projects at once
