Description - Your Role in the Lab

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory tests across various disciplines-such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established protocols meticulously.
• Validate results, identify inconsistencies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure lab instruments are routinely maintained and calibrated.
• Participate in specimen collection and, as necessary, prepare samples for accurate testing.
• Keep detailed documentation of all procedures, assist in training new employees, and play a pivotal role in maintaining lab quality standards.
• Foster a safe and clean environment while upholding all regulatory guidelines and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree, including ASCP/AMT certification preparations.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of hire.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification throughout employment is essential.
