Overnight Veterinary Technician

VCA Shoreline Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center is hiring a full time overnight Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our team! We are seeking an individual who is positive, energetic, eager to learn, and works well on a team.

Schedule: Thursday, Friday Saturday Overnight.

Compensation: Is based on skill set, experience, and licensure status (CVA)

Veterinary Technician duties include:

• Providing nursing care for all inpatient's

• Full technician skill utilization

• Collecting patient histories & physical exams

• Medication refills, and pet parent communication

• Proficient in medical calculations

• Venipuncture / IVC placement

• Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)

• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services

• Providing compassionate care for all patients

• Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be able to effectively communicate with others in a fast-paced environment.
