Job Summary
The Client is seeking a Principal Technology Architect to lead Digital Workplace architecture and strategy. This role defines future-state solutions for employee technologies, aligns architecture with enterprise goals, and drives scalable, secure, and modern digital workplace experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute Digital Workplace architecture strategy and multi-year roadmaps
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture artifacts, standards, and governance
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture, IT, and business leaders on solution design
- Guide portfolio planning, budgeting, and technology investment decisions
- Lead technical governance, vendor evaluations, and standards compliance
- Drive innovation across collaboration, endpoint, cloud, security, and mobility
- Provide architectural leadership from concept through implementation
- Present architecture strategies to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Mentor technical teams and support change initiatives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
10+ years of IT architecture experience
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Digital Workplace architecture & strategy (5–10 year planning)
- Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, SCCM, Citrix, AVD, endpoint & device lifecycle
- Cloud, security, identity, collaboration, and virtualization technologies
- Agile/Lean methodologies, automation, Power Platform, AI tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Utility industry experience preferred.
Compensation:
The annual starting salary for this position is between $147,000 – $218,900 annually.
