Job Summary: Our client is looking for a Mental Health Therapist in Salt Lake City to join their outpatient clinical team. This role involves providing individual and group therapy to adults with mental health and substance use disorders. The ideal candidate is passionate about recovery, values a collaborative and supportive work culture, and embraces a trauma-informed, client-centered approach to care.
Job Responsibilities: - Provide individual, group, and family therapy to adults with mental health and substance use disorders
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed practices
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to support recovery goals
- Coordinate care and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including case managers, medical staff, and peer support specialists
- Participate in weekly clinical supervision and ongoing training to maintain licensure and enhance therapeutic skills
- Support clients in accessing community resources and transitioning between levels of care as appropriate
- Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive therapeutic environment for all clients
Qualifications: - Current Utah licensure (includes CSWi, CSW, LCSW, ACMHC, CMHC, MFTi, AMFT, LMFT)
- Experience with a range of mental health and behavioral concerns
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Eligible to work in the USA.
