Job Description
Reporting into the President, you will be responsible for the following :
- Lead and develop the engineering and tool room teams by providing clear guidance, mentorship, and constructive performance feedback.
- Apply deep knowledge of tool‑building methods, including experience sourcing tooling internationally.
- Build a collaborative, high‑performing culture that supports shared goals and continuous improvement.
- Allocate resources effectively and assign responsibilities to ensure successful project execution.
- Hold regular team meetings to maintain strong communication and alignment across all activities.
- Manage the full injection mold build lifecycle, including design, development, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure all processes meet industry standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements.
- Champion continuous improvement efforts to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and increase overall productivity.
- Lead the quotation process for all new products and incoming opportunities.
- Establish clear project objectives, schedules, and resource plans for every engineering initiative.
- Coordinate closely with product design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Track project progress, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on‑time, successful delivery.
- Stay current with emerging injection molding technologies, materials, and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and support to engineering staff and collaborate with other departments as needed.
- Diagnose complex technical problems and drive innovative, effective solutions.
- Promote a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and process improvement within the engineering team.
- Strengthen communication and knowledge sharing across teams and key stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Engineering Manager should have :
A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other relevant Engineering Discipline or equivalent years of experience in injection molding10+ years of experience in the manufacturing space with experience in injection molding and tool room management5+ years of experience in leadershipA strong background in engineering and manufacturing, with expertise in project management.Experience leading teams and driving process improvements in an industrial setting.Proficiency in technical software and tools relevant to engineering and manufacturing.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.Strong communication and leadership skills, with a focus on collaboration and team development.What's on Offer
