We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing on-premises infrastructure to support business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server administration, virtualization, networking, and system troubleshooting.

Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and manage on-premises infrastructure including Windows Servers, VMware ESXi / vCenter, storage solutions, and networking components.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to servers, virtualization, and system operations on-site.
• Conduct regular updates, patch management, system backups, and lifecycle maintenance for all on-premises systems.
• Escalate unresolved technical challenges to senior IT leaders or external vendors when necessary.
• Collaborate with IT team members to deliver consistent, secure, and high-quality services to the organization.
• Document procedures, configurations, and any changes within the IT environment for reference and compliance.
• Assist in implementing security protocols, monitoring tools, and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard infrastructure.
• Provide basic support and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, and printers as needed.
• Extensive experience with Windows Server administration including Active Directory, Group Policy, and related services.
• Proficiency in VMware technologies such as ESXi, vCenter, VM provisioning, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Office 365 / Microsoft 365 services and hybrid integration setups.
• Solid understanding of Cisco networking concepts including switches, firewalls, and general network infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with antivirus solutions and endpoint security tools.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in documentation.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
