This is a full-time position working 3 PM - 11 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday. Pay range is $27.20 - $36.95. Pay is based on experience.

Ensure daily customer happinessWorking shift schedules as directed to ensure we are efficient and effective in meeting our customer and communities needs through availability of well maintained vehicles and equipmentProvide ongoing vehicle maintenance education to Life EMS associate to assist them in understanding systems and recognizing warning signs for failureProvide updates and information to the Director of Fleet Readiness and the Director of Operations to keep them informed on all vehicle and equipment statusResponsible for keeping the maintenance work area clean, organized and safeResponsible for parts inventories managementResponsible for documenting and reporting all maintenance activities as described by Life EMS. This includes maintenance of computer or other manual preventative Maintenance logging systems.Assists and supports the Health & Safety Coordinator in evaluating and measuring the quality and success of driving safety principals and how they are affecting maintenance.Involved in improving the maintenance programs through constructive suggestions and meeting participation and attendance at specific seminars, etc. as directed.Responsible for individual ongoing education and training to maintain certifications and necessary skillsCommunicates maintenance activities to the Director of Fleet Readiness, Vice President of Resource Delivery and / or designee.Other roles and responsibilities as prescribed by the Director of Fleet Readiness.QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS & KNOWLDEGE REQUIREMENTS :
Must be 18 year of age and have a high school diploma or GEDMust possess own hand tools necessary for completing assigned tasksMust possess and maintain ASE Automotive Service Excellence certification in all 8 categoriesMust possess and maintain a Michigan Department of State Automobile certificationMust pass all Life EMS pre-employment requirements as outlined on the Conditional Offer of EmploymentMust maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets Life EMS standardsMust be interviewed by the Life EMS designeeLife EMS has a facial hair policy. A neatly trimmed mustache to the corners of your mouth is allowed, but otherwise, must be clean-shaven.PHYSICAL DEMANDS : While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; smell. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance visions, color visions, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
