Locums Emergency Medicine Physician

We areseeking an experienced Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to provide temporarycoverage at a reputable hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This assignmentoffers the opportunity to work in a dynamic emergency department that serves adiverse patient population while collaborating with a well-supported clinicalteam.

Responsibilities:

• Provide full-scope Emergency Medicine care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute illnesses and injuries
• Manage high-acuity presentations, stabilize critical patients, and coordinate transfers as needed
• Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Perform ED procedures typical for emergency care (suturing, intubation, central lines, splinting, etc.)
• Document encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
  (FM/IM with EM experience may be considered based on facility preference)
• Active Tennessee Medical License (or willingness to obtain)
• Active DEA
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
