Security Officer - Retail Store Patrol Specialist

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. You'll be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, working in an environment that puts people first and always acts with integrity.

Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $20.15 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 15 PM

Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 15 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and / or staff while on duty.
  • Document observations, incidents, and / or activities as required by site policies and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Remain alert to any unusual activity or situations that may require additional security-related attention.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
