Pieper Veterinary is looking for a Veterinary Technician who is compassionate and kind to join the Oncology department at Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center, a VECCS Level I Facility in Middletown, CT .

About You :

The ideal candidate for this role is especially deft with venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia and restraint. Having background or knowledge in Oncology and chemotherapy is a plus.

Experience with CPR, EzyVet, and Smartflow are an additional plus, but not required. This role requires continuous client communication as you will be following the same patients throughout their treatment, so strong communication skills are a must. Anticipated Schedule :

4 days a week / 10-hour shifts

Holidays are required

Compensation :

$22.00 - $30.00 an hour dependent upon experience and certifications.

Additional compensation for VTS or those actively pursuing.
